MBD Old Fashioned
1 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, ½ oz Vanilla Liqueur, dash of Angostura Bitters, generous orange twist, muddle, serve over ice and top with soda
Mutiny Manhattan
2 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1 oz Vanilla Liqueur, ½ oz Blueberry Liqueur, dash bitters, shaken, strained and served up or over ice, berries or cherry
Whiskey Mocha Java
3 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1.5 oz Cointreau, 1.5 oz Vanilla Liqueur, ½ oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, ½ oz fresh lemon juice, Chocolate Bitters to taste, serve over rocks
Homemade Irish Cream Liqueur
1 2/3 Cup Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1 Cup ½ & ½, 1 14 oz can of condensed milk, 1 Tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tsp. Vanilla extract, mix together in blender & chill. Makes 4 Cups
Palouse Julep
1 ½ oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1 oz Vanilla Liqueur, muddle with fresh Mint, serve over ice, top with soda, lemon or orange twist
Whiskey Joe (Our version of a Black Russian)
2 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1 oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, serve over ice
Island Mule
1-2 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey or MBD Vodka, Ginger Beer or Ginger Ale to taste, lime juice, serve over ice, lime wedge

Earl Grey Tea & Strait Gin
1 ¼ oz Strait Gin, 1 ¼ oz Vanilla Liqueur, ¼ oz fresh Lemon juice pour over ice top with Earl Grey Tea (previously brewed & chilled), serve over ice with sprig of Lavender
Martinez
2 oz Strait Gin, 1 oz sweet vermouth, 1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur, 3 dashes Angostura bitters, strip of the orange peel stirred (not shaken) with ice, strain and serve over ice, garnish with orange peel
Golden Purl
1 Cup hard Apple Cider (warmed with 1 Tbsp maple syrup), add 1 ½ oz Strait Gin, 2 dashes orange bitters
The Bee’s Knees
2 oz Strait Gin, ¾ oz Honey Syrup (diluted honey 2-3 parts honey + 1 part water), ½ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice, shaken, strained and served up
Gin & Elderflower Tonic
1-2 oz Strait Gin mixes especially well with Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic, serve on the rocks with lime twist or wedge
Strait Gin Knickerbocker
1 ½ oz Strait Gin, ½ oz Raspberry puree, pour into a pint size glass of ice, fill to the top with Cherry soda
Lemon Gin Mojito
1 ½ oz Strait Gin, ½ oz Vanilla Liqueur, muddle with fresh mint leaves, squeeze juice from ½ a Lemon, strain over ice, top with soda, lemon twist or wedge
Mutiny Bay Distillery Vodka
Whidbey White Russian
1 ½ oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, 2 oz MBD Vodka, 2 ½ oz Cream and serve over ice
MBD White Russian Milkshake (serves 2)
1 cup coffee ice cream, softened, ¼ Cup Milk, 1 ½ oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, 1 ½ oz MBD Vodka, blend on high speed, top with whipped cream and grated semi-sweet chocolate as a garnish
Watermelon Cooler
1 ½ oz MBD Vodka, 2 oz Watermelon juice, ½ oz fresh lime juice, strain over ice, top with Ginger Beer
Punch for a Bunch (serves 16)
3 Cups MBD Vodka, 5 ¾ Cups Apple Cider, 2 Apples & 2 Pears cored and thinly sliced, 1 Lemon thinly sliced. Chill. Add 1 liter Ginger Ale just before serving, garnish with cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise pods
Mutiny Bay Bloody Mary
1 ½ oz MBD Vodka, ¾ Cup Spicy V8, 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 1 dash Tabasco, squeeze of fresh lime juice, salt & pepper to taste, serve over ice with celery stalk and olives
Cranberry Mule
2 oz MBD Vodka, 2 oz Cranberry juice, ½ oz fresh lime juice, pour into copper mug, add ice, top with Ginger Beer, garnish with fresh lime & cranberries

Blueberry Whiskey Sidecar
1.5 oz Blueberry Liqueur, 3 oz Palouse Gold Whiskey, 1.5 oz Vanilla Liqueur, juice of 1/2 lemon, serve over rocks
Paulista
1 oz MBD Blueberry Liqueur, 12 Blueberries, ½ oz lavender syrup, muddle then add 1 ¾ oz cachaça, ¾ oz lime juice, strain and serve up
Blueberry Lemonade
1-2 oz MBD Blueberry Liqueur, Rosemary Lemonade, lemon wedge, serve over ice
Blueberry Spritzer
1-2 oz MBD Blueberry Liqueur, Soda Water, serve over ice, lemon twist
Blueberry Mojito
1-2 oz MBD Blueberry Liqueur, muddle fresh blueberries and mint leaves, fill with soda water, serve over rocks

Island County Fair
1 oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, 3 oz Root Beer, dollop of ice cream or just cream and serve over ice
Summer Coffee Break
12 oz Pilsner, 1 oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, rim glass with lemon or lime & dip in "Rod’s Special Dipping Salt" (see below)
Tipsy Hot Chocolate
1 oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, Hot Chocolate, dollop of fresh whip cream, sprinkle with toasted almond slivers
Coffee Chata
1 oz MBD Coffee Liqueur, 1 oz Rum Chata, serve over ice, add cinnamon for a cinnamon toast

1 ½ oz MBD Vanilla Liqueur, Black Tea, squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Make it Count
1 oz MBD Vanilla Liqueur, 2 oz Compari, 1 oz blood orange concentrate, serve over ice, top with Club Soda, garnish with dried orange slice
Mutiny Sweet Tea
1 oz MBD Vanilla Liqueur, chilled Black Tea (we use Lipton Coldbrew because it's easy and not bitter), serve over ice, lemon wedge
Cucumber or Ginger Vanilla Cocktail
1 oz MBD Vanilla Liqueur, muddle with fresh Cucumber or Ginger slices, shake and serve over over ice, lemon twist

Use instead of simple syrup, sugar cube or sweet vermouth in many cocktail recipes

Rod's Special Dipping Salt
2 Tbsp kosher or flaked salt, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, ½ tsp celery salt, ¼ tsp each garlic & onion powder, rim glass with lemon or lime and dip in salt
Baking Better
Add MBD Palouse Gold Whiskey and/or MBD Vanilla Liqueur to Fruitcake
Paint the top of carrot cake (before frosting) with MBD Palouse Gold Whiskey
Add MBD Vanilla Liqueur to Crème Brûlée, bread pudding, or almond cake
MBD Vanilla Liqueur Apple Pie
First marinate apple slices in MBD Vanilla Liqueur and use in a baked apple pie, then finish with Vanilla Liqueur drizzled on top
Marinades & Glazes
MBD Vanilla Liqueur is great in meat marinades like Teriyaki, or for jerky. Try glazing grilled Peaches or Pork Chops or even Salmon!
